Kathleen E. Letourneau joined Owen, Wickersham & Erickson in 2008. Her practice focuses on trademark, copyright and unfair competition law, including counseling, prosecution, and enforcement.
Ms. Letourneau earned her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2006, where she was on the Dean’s list, a member of the mock trial team, served on Moot Court Board, and was awarded certificates of specialization with distinction in both intellectual property and litigation. Prior to law school, Ms. Letourneau received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and was inducted into both the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor society.
Ms. Letourneau is a member of the State Bar of California. She is also a member of the State Bar of California Intellectual Property and Litigation Sections, the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association Intellectual Property and Litigation sections and the International Trademark Association.
Ms. Letourneau is originally from Miami, Florida and speaks fluent Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young daughter and capturing their lives through photography and scrapbooking.

Alica Del Valle

Alica Del Valle first joined Owen, Wickersham & Erickson in 2006. In 2007, Ms. Del Valle was invited to clerk at the California Supreme Court. After a year at the Court, Ms. Del Valle returned to Owen, Wickersham & Erickson, where her practice focuses on the prosecution of trademarks and litigation involving trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, trade secret, and related claims. Ms. Del Valle also assists clients in domain name disputes and acquisitions.
Ms. Del Valle received undergraduate degrees in English and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law. During law school, Ms. Del Valle earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Writing and Research and served as Vice-Chair of the Moot Court Board. Additionally, she was an editor for the UC Davis Business Law Journal and authored, The "Governator" Bobblehead: An Exploration of the Right of Publicity in California, 5 U.C. Davis Bus. L.J. 21 (2005).
Ms. Del Valle currently serves on the Bar Association of San Francisco Barristers Club Board of Directors and is the 2009-2010 Monthly Meetings Co-Chair for the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all California State courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Del Valle is also a member of the International Trademark Association, the American Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Ms. Del Valle has participated as a panelist presenter for the Legal Writing Program at the University of San Francisco - School of Law and regularly serves as both a Brief Reading and an Oral Argument Judge in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition for the International Trademark Association.
Ms. Del Valle is a native of Mexico City and is fluent in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys training for and competing in marathons and triathlons.
